I was waiting at the lights controlled pedestrian crossings. The lights stopped the traffic, and the flashing green man appeared. I was halfway across the road when 2 cyclists travelling at speed approached with no intention of stopping, one went behind me the other rode up onto the pavement and passed in front of me at speed, the traffic lights still red and cars stopped!
A little later a a normal traffic light controlled cross roads junction, I witnessed a cyclist approaching the red lights only to just continue riding through across the traffic flow.
Within a few seconds another cyclist jumped the lights again.
Was I just unlucky or are cyclists failing to follow the road rules more frequently these days? let me know.
