NEW JOBS DELIVERED BY DPD

AROUND 1,500 new UK jobs will be created with a £175million expansion by parcel delivery firm DPD.
The companyis to build a new £100m sorting plant in the Midlands, and 10 smaller depots around the UK next year.
DPD, which is based in Smethwick, West Mids, said it is benefitting from the online shopping boom.
Chief Dwain McDonald said: “That market is expanding rapidly.’’
